Absorbent underpads, also known as disposable bed pads or chux pads, are medical devices designed to protect surfaces from moisture and other bodily fluids. They are commonly used in hospitals, clinics, and home healthcare settings for patients who may experience incontinence, bedwetting, or other conditions that require protection for the bedding and furniture.
Disposable absorbent underpads are made of a soft and absorbent material, typically a combination of cellulose and polypropylene fibers, that quickly absorbs and locks in moisture. They are available in different sizes and absorbency levels to suit various needs, and they can be used on beds, chairs, wheelchairs, and other surfaces.

Advantage of absorbent underpads
- Super absorbent: Made of advanced extra absorbent polymer core and thick with a high gram weight, these disposable underpads can be completely absorbed over 1500ml of liquid in seconds. Fast absorption and moisture locked to promote a sound sleep and peace of mind for adults or children.
- Multiple layers protection: Soft non woven fabric surface is soft to the touch for added comfort, for patient and old people. Wood pulp + SAP can absorb the liquid fast and completely, and stay in shape all the day. PE film prevent the liquid leakage efficiently.
- Multiple use: Perfect for people of any ages, especially for children, elderly or disabled people suffering from incontinence. Great to catch your pets' every mishap while potty training. Shield your bedding and furniture, and protect antiques.
How to use it?
To use a disposable absorbent underpad, simply place it on the surface to be protected, with the absorbent side facing up. Position the pad in the area where the patient is likely to experience moisture or leaks, such as under the buttocks or lower back. The pad should fit securely and not bunch or fold, as this can cause leaks.
Once the pad is soiled, remove it and dispose of it properly, according to facility or local regulations. Replace the pad with a new one as needed to maintain a clean and dry surface.
