Nonwoven, as the name suggests, is a fabric that is not obtained by knitting, weaving or sewing, but by combining fibers through chemical bonding and machine bonding. The features that distinguish nonwoven fabrics from others are that they are a liquid attractive-repellent, robust, taut, anti-combustion, antibacterial, filtering and flexible fabric. Another feature is that its cost is very low compared to the usage time. It is also environmentally friendly and completely safe for human health. As we have said, nonwovens have liquid repellent and attractive properties, they are resistant to cleaning solvents when wet and dry, which means they are washable fabrics.

The area of use of nonwovens is quite wide. This area covers textile, geotextile, medical, hygiene, furniture and even the aerospace industries. In the medical sector, which concerns us, nonwoven fabrics are indispensable thanks to their liquid repellent-attractive, antibacterial and filtering properties.

Also, due to its good antibacterial properties, it has a wide range of roles in medical applications, such as surgical gowns, masks, transfer sheets, etc. At the same time, this material is more friendly to the environment, reducing environmental breakage and waste.
