The reason is, most foreign customers need to prepare goods for Christmas, and on the other hand, almost all Chinese factories will have a one-month holiday for the Spring Festival, some factory even off work for longer time. It’s very necessary to do inventory before the holiday.
However, maybe you don’t have enough warehouse for stock, and considering for saving inventory cost, it’s no necessary to prepare stock for all products. Then, which products you should stock?
Firstly, you can do stock for complex handmade products. Such as disposable lab coats, coveralls, boot covers.
Handmade products require a large number of workers and it take a long time for production. Most workers will take 1-2 months off for Spring Festival, so even if the factory goes operation, there will be far fewer workers officially working, resulting in a longer delivery time.
Secondly, if you have customized products, which with special material, or complex workmanship, and have high requirements for the quality, packaging. Then you should make earlier order planning. Usually the time before and after CNY holiday, factories are faced with fewer workers and more orders. The production for each order will take much longer time than normal.
For the machine made products, or simple made products, such as disposable face masks, caps, shoe covers, disposable PE aprons and other products, considering to save storage cost and these products are not very urgently needed in short time, then it is not necessary to do inventory before the Spring Festival.
