On December 18, 2022, China suddenly liberalized its epidemic policy and it seemed that everyone around us was infected with Omicron virus within a few days. Unfortunately, all the employees of our company were not spared and were infected one after another. We really did not expect the virus to come so quickly.
It’s not just a simple cold as the internet said. All our company employees were infected with high fever and body aches for the first 3-4 days, followed by stuffy nose and cough. The trouble was we couldn't buy fever-reducing medicine anywhere, the medicine we bought online a week in advance could not be delivered, drug stores were sold out antipyretic medicine very early, even hospitals are often out of stock.
It's a really tough time, every year from December is the busiest time for us. Many orders are waiting for production and deliver before the Spring Festival, every day need to arrange products delivery and containers loading.
To ensure the delivery time of all orders, Wuhan Youfu is doing the best we can do. In order to help employees get over the fever, our leaders tried every means to find antipyretic medicine for them. Most of us recover strength after one week, and under the condition of the employees’ body situation allows, we encourage them return to work in time. Of course, even back at work, most people still don't have sufficient stamina, so we provide them with milk, eggs and fresh fruit every day to make sure they get enough protein and vitamins. We also arrange shuttles for our employees to and from work. What's more, we make our employees wear disposable isolation gowns and KN95 face masks at work, we implement staggered breaks for workers, and keep a distance of 1 meter between each other during breaks and meals.
